'Working On a Dream'

The Journey Never Ends
As a Freelance Photographer based in Falkirk, my camera has been my guide for over 20 years. I’ve spent a huge amount of time perfecting my photography techniques, and building my portfolio in various areas; Landscape, Events and Property, but there’s always something new to see and to learn. I will continue to travel and explore, and increase my knowledge in this field.
Welcome to MORR Photography Moments
Thank you for visiting the site and I hope you enjoy viewing the images I have added.
Firstly, I'd like to give you a breakdown of my background and where my love of photography began. My working background has been with various public organisations in Scotland; finance and education sector, but whenever I had time off, I'd pack up the camera gear and make my way to the east and west coast of central Scotland. The scenes that I looked for were on a waterfront or with mountain ranges in the background.
A couple of examples of these are shown below. These were both taken at Loch Long, Arrochar.
I love days like this when I can surface at 3:30am, make the trip to the west coast of central Scotland and avoid the busy roads and enjoy the silence. I will try and get to these areas in the next couple of months and capture these areas in a different season.
Additional Challenges
I have always had a love of music and the number of gigs that I have attended has increased greatly over the past 10 years. On average I now attend 28 per year. I love music and can't get through a day without it. But, I would like to get the opportunity of taking images and bands / artists from the stage front to expand my portfolio. I plan to make some enquires in the next few weeks and get the camera gear updated for this field. There has been some gigs that I've attended that I've made it very close to the stage, but as a normal paying customer it's only mobile phones or small compact cameras that are permitted.
The quality of some of the images are still extremely good with the Samsung Galaxy S25, but I need to get my equipment updated and put to use.
Below are a couple of my images from gigs in the past 18 months, one from a distance and the other a close-up.
Please spend some time having a look through the images on the site, which include a new batch of images from a range of gigs that I've attended over the past few years. This will continuously be updated with additions from the events I have booked for this year (check Future Events tab).
Thanks for visiting and please get in touch via the contact tab with any queries and comments.
Best Wishes
Mitch
