'Working On a Dream'

As a Freelance Photographer based in Falkirk, my camera has been my guide for over 20 years. I’ve spent a huge amount of time perfecting
my photography techniques, and building my portfolio in various areas: Landscape, Events and Property - but there’s always something new
to see and to learn. I will continue to travel and explore, and increase my knowledge in this field.

It was during a 3-week vacation in September 2001 that my love of landscape photography began. It was a coach tour with Virgin Atlantic and it travelled through four states: California, Utah, Arizona and Nevada, and the scenery made me appreciate this beautiful country and how much that it had to offer.

Then in February 2002, and after much thought, I accepted a severance package from my full-time post in finance and started getting plans made for a 3-month USA adventure in the summer of that year. I visited New York, Boston, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas, San Diego, Santa Barbara and San Francisco.

This was simply an amazing experience and one that I will always cherish.

My travels have now taken me to 11 states within the USA; Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Nevada, Texas and Utah.

Roll onto 2022 and I've now visited the USA 13 times, the most recent being New York in October 2022. I'll continue adding to that as much as possible. Some of the places currently

on my Bucket Lis include Norway, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Finland and another visit to Iceland.
